One person was killed and two others injured in an Aurora parking lot shooting Wednesday night, police said.
Aurora officers responded to the shooting at 1155 South Havana Street at about 8:33 p.m. Wednesday, near where the street intersects with East Mississippi Avenue, according to a news release from the police department.
That address is home to the Market Square at Mississippi and Havana Shopping Center, which contains a King Soopers, a Dollar Tree, multiple restaurants, a liquor store and a preschool.
When officers arrived, they found two men who had been shot, according to the news release.
One man died from his injuries in the parking lot and paramedics took the second man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Officers later found a woman who was also shot had arrived at the hospital by private vehicle, police said. She remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
The exact ages of the victims remain unknown, but police said they’re all adults. As of Thursday morning, no suspects had been publicly identified or arrested.
