2 people shot after fight outside nightclub in downtown Seattle
SEATTLE — Seattle police detectives are investigating after two men were injured in a shooting in downtown Seattle early Saturday morning.
At about 2:30 a.m., patrol officers were in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue South when they saw a group of people fighting outside of a nightclub.

During this altercation, the officers saw a shooting happen and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers stabilized the victim, who was then taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Simultaneously, police detained two suspects for questioning and recovered a gun. A K9 was used to search for the second gun believed to have been used in the shooting, but police were unable to find it.
While investigating, a victim arrived at a different hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower back. Investigators determined he had been injured in the same shooting.
Officers cordoned off the area and detectives in the Gun Violence Reduction Unit responded to process the scene.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
