Jon Bon Jovi is showing his wife Dorothea Hurley some love in honor of the couple’s 36th wedding anniversary.
The ’80s rockstar shared a touching Instagram post Tuesday to commemorate the occasion.
“36 roses for 36 amazing years. Happy anniversary my love,” the post reads.
It included a snap of Bon Jovi and Hurley on their wedding day and another of the Graceland Wedding Chapel sign, where they married.
This post comes about a year after the “Livin’ On A Prayer” singer admitted that he may have strayed from their marriage at times.
“These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom,” he told The Independent in April 2024. “It’s about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to f— up the home life, either.”
He elaborated even more later that month during an interview with Michael Strahan for ABC’s “Halfway There.”
Speaking on his early days of fame and his status as a sex symbol, Bon Jovi claimed he “got away with murder” in their relationship. “[I’m] not saying that there weren’t 100 girls in my life. I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.”
However, Bon Jovi attested that while he may have flirted with infidelity, he didn’t lose sight of how good he had it with Hurley.
“But if you think I was ever going to jeopardize … anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do. What kind of excesses does a man need that’s going to fuel that fire? It’s just not worth it,“ he said.
Bon Jovi and Hurley were high school sweethearts, first meeting in 1980. They briefly broke up in 1985, but got back together and eloped four years later in Las Vegas. Hurley was by his side as he and his bandmates went from no-name rockers to a global phenomenon.
They have four children together including their son Jake Bongiovi, who’s married to actress Millie Bobby Brown.
