A new TV show with the working title “Flashlight” will be filming in Shirley, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, according to a filming notice shared by Shirley police.
The show plans to shoot footage at the Old Shirley Center Town Hall on Seth Chandler Road from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day, according to the notice. As such, the road will be closed entirely from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
Additionally, no parking will be allowed on Seth Chandler Road from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 7 p.m. Thursday or on Common Road from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to the notice. The film crew’s trailers, support vehicles and other equipment will be stored off-site in permitted parking lots.
The filming notice included no information about the show aside from its working title and a mysterious logo featuring something resembling a black ink stain.
The show’s assistant location manager declined to provide further details about the nature of the show or what they would be filming in Shirley when reached by phone Tuesday afternoon. Its publicist said no information about the show could be shared as it is a closed set and those working on it have signed non-disclosure agreements.
