SALISBURY, N.C. — Police in Salisbury are investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon and left one person injured.
The shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. on Tabernacle Street, according to the Salisbury Police Department. Officers found a 20-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. The victim is in critical condition at the hospital, according to police.
A 14-year-old was arrested in connection with the shooting. They are charged with assault with a deadly weapon and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon. Their name is not being released due to their age.
