SeaPort Airlines relaunches with daily Portland-Seattle direct flights every 45 minutes
SEATTLE — SeaPort Airlines is set to resume operations with daily direct commuter flights between Portland and Seattle starting May 20.
This marks the airline’s return to the Pacific Northwest skies under new leadership after its closure in 2016.

The revived airline, a sister company of Alaska Seaplanes, will offer flights every 45 minutes during peak times, providing a faster alternative to the I-5 corridor.
The service will operate from a small terminal on the Atlantic Aviation campus at Portland International Airport and Boeing Field at King County International Airport.
SeaPort says this setup allows travelers to bypass TSA bottlenecks and enjoy the convenience of private flying at the cost of a single seat on a scheduled flight.
“By flying through our private terminal at PDX and Seattle’s Boeing Field just minutes from downtown, our customers will avoid the snarl of both I-5 and SeaTac Airport,” said Kent Craford, Chairman and CEO of Kalinin Holdings, SeaPort’s parent company. “This commuter shuttle service will make the travel experience quicker, easier and more predictable compared to navigating clogged freeways and an over-subscribed global-scale international airport in Seattle.”
SeaPort will operate a fleet of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, capable of carrying nine passengers and cargo, designed and built in Switzerland. The airline is led by experienced Alaska pilot managers, who previously navigated the challenging air travel conditions of Southeast Alaska.
