Post Malone will headline the 2025 Cattle Baron’s Ball, an annual North Texas party that’s the world’s largest single-night fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

The Grapevine-raised rapper-turned-country singer was revealed as the headliner Wednesday night at a private party in Dallas, according to an email from event organizers.

Also announced was the event’s VIP stage performer, Chandler Walters, who wrote several songs on Post Malone’s 2024 country crossover album, F-1 Trillion, including the hit duet “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen.

The Cattle Baron’s Ball will take place Oct. 25 at Southfork Ranch in Parker.

The announcement was made with Malone, an 18-time Grammy Award nominee, coming off a sold-out show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on May 9. “It feels so good to be back home,” he told the crowd.

Walters, who’s been touring with Malone, also performed at the show.

A day earlier, Malone was up for five Academy of Country Music Awards in Frisco, though he didn’t take home any prizes. Walters was also nominated as a songwriter on “I Had Some Help.”

Since 1974, the Cattle Baron’s Ball has raised more than $105 million for cancer research, most of which is conducted in North Texas, organizers say. A raffle and silent auction contribute to the haul, along with ticket sales. Guests at the fundraiser wear chic western attire and cowboy boots.

Carrie Underwood was the headliner at last year’s ball.

Tickets for the always-sold-out event are on sale now, with discounted early bird tickets available through June 1. For more information, visit cattlebaronsball.com.
