Denver police are seeking information about vehicles involved in three hit-and-run crashes that seriously injured three people and killed a fourth between April and May.

The first crash happened at about 10:52 p.m. April 11 at Colfax Avenue and Kalamath Street, according to a Metro Denver Crime Stoppers bulletin released Friday.

A white or silver pickup truck was traveling west on Colfax when it rear-ended a vehicle stopped at the red light at Kalamath, severely injuring the driver.

The truck may have moderate or severe damage to the front end, police said.

A second hit-and-run happened at about 10:07 p.m. Thursday when a vehicle described as a dark-colored Toyota Tacoma with a camper shell struck two pedestrians crossing 33rd Avenue at Quivas Street, according to another bulletin.

Both pedestrians were seriously hurt. The Tacoma may have moderate damage to the front and a missing front bumper.

The third crash happened at about 3 a.m. Saturday, when a dark-colored pickup truck hit another vehicle on southbound Interstate 25 near Colorado Boulevard, killing the driver.

Police spokesperson Siena Riley said that no witnesses to Saturday’s crash have come forward, and officers were still investigating as of Saturday morning.

Anyone with information about the incidents or suspect vehicles can contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or online.
