Ever-expanding bagel chain Call Your Mother Deli will open its newest mobile location in a neighborhood rich with houses and apartments.

The company will set up shop with a bright pink pop-up at 3165 Central Park Blvd. in late May or early June. The location, in the high-profile parking lot that also serves Natural Grocers and FlyteCo Brewing, will serve bagels, sandwiches and its other menu items.

Based in Washington, D.C., Call Your Mother made a big splash in spring 2023 when it opened its first Denver location at 3880 Tennyson St., selling its creative or off-kilter takes on Jewish deli classics, inlucind a chocolate babka muffin, bacon, egg, cheese and spicy honey bagel sandwich, and candied salmon cream cheese on a za’atar bagel.

It has since added three more permanent locations in Capitol Hill, Hilltop and in the Central Market downtown at 2669 Larimer St. The Fort Collins Coloradoan reported last week that the company is planning a deli in that town as well.

But Call Your Mother also scouts possible new locations with its mobile popups, which it calls Lil’ Delis. It previously operated them in Platte Park and in the River North Art District.

Call Your Mother was founded in 2018 by Andrew Dana and Daniela Moreira, who added more than 10 locations in D.C. and surrounding parts of Virginia and Maryland. Earlier this year, they sold part of the company to an investment firm, which is helping the chain to expand, according to Restaurant Business.
