LACEY, Wash. — Multiple agencies recently solved a significant burglary case involving the theft of guns, ammunition, a laptop, a drone, credit cards and IDs, and multiple other valuable items.

The case was assigned to the Lacey Police Department’s Community Resource Unit, which, with the help of multiple agencies, identified the suspect within a week.

A few days later, the Thurston County SWAT team apprehended the suspect.

Search warrants executed on the suspect’s home and vehicles led to the recovery of guns, ammunition, drugs, scales, cash related to narcotics sales, stolen mail, credit cards, IDs, equipment for creating credit cards and IDs, washed checks, a drone, mailbox keys, and approximately 50 sets of car keys believed to be stolen from a dealership.

During the operation, SWAT attempted to stop additional suspect vehicles. One vehicle fled but was stopped using a PIT maneuver, while the second vehicle stopped voluntarily.

Both drivers were taken into custody on various charges.

The primary suspect, an 11-time convicted felon, was booked into jail on charges including burglary, 15 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, 15 counts of theft of a firearm, theft, possession of a stolen firearm, unlawful possession with intent to deliver while armed, forgery, and identity theft.

However, the suspect has since been released on bail. Police did not provide the name or age of the suspect.
