JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Memorial Day weekend will mark a year since a man visiting Ginnie Springs Park died from his injuries in one of two shootings that occurred at the park.

Now, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is calling for more information in the case to help solve the murder of 26-year-old Marco Mandujano.

Mangujano, who the FDLE said was an “innocent bystander,” was visiting the park on May 25, 2024, when a fight broke out and led to a shooting near the Devil’s Spring and the Tube Launch around 11:30 p.m.

Two other people were hit, taken to the hospital and released. Mangujano was taken to the hospital in serious condition, where he died.

Though the FDLE has been following multiple leads, no arrests have been made.

Another fatal shooting happened on the same day after visitors got into an argument over a parking spot at the park, deputies said.

According to deputies, two groups got into a fight before the shooting. It was assumed the fights were resolved, but Koty Stewart was found fatally shot near the Beaver’s Landing bathhouse.

Two brothers from Georgia were arrested in connection with Stewart’s death.

If you have any information that can help authorities identify the shooter in Mangujano’s case, call FDLE Special Agent Barry Kays at 386-462-9975 or email [email protected].
