Located on Waugh Drive, near Washington Avenue, “Good God, Nadine” officially opened to the public on Tuesday and is the brainchild of Billy Trainer and Kyle Wiebe of Verdegreen Farms in collaboration with Gin Design Group.

The concept behind “Good God, Nadine” is to imagine a Southern garden party hosted by your most unapologetic and opinionated aunt or sister.

Don’t pull away just yet, though, as the bar offers a breezy patio and a playful cocktail list.

“We are native Houstonians who care deeply about food, drink, and hospitality,” Good God, Nadine explained on its website. “So much so that we built an industry-leading organic/hydroponic farm on Houston’s Northside just to prove the point.”
