Good Thursday morning! Keep the rain gear handy! Today will be mostly cloudy, very warm, humid, and there will also be scattered rain. We are in the Slight Risk, level 2 on a scale of 0 to 5 severity, for severe storms today. Main concern would be damaging winds, but large hail and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The pockets of rain will be on and off over the next few days, but the best chance for stronger storms will be during the afternoon/evening when we are warmer. Today temperatures are starting out around 60, and we will warm to a high around 82. Stay weather aware and act if a warning is issued for your location. 70% chance of rain today, so a few areas may dodge the rain.
Tomorrow will be humid again, especially early, with morning temps around 60, then a high around 76. On and off pockets of rain on Friday with a few strong storms possible, mainly to the south/east. 70% chance of rain again tomorrow.
The system lingers over the region & will keep on and off rain showers around, through the weekend & into early next week. The weekend will have high temps in the lower 60s with a 60% chance of rain on Saturday, then a 40% chance on Sunday. The rain breaks up a little more on Monday and Tuesday, but still a few showers from time to time to start next week. We warm to 67 on Monday, then 72 on Tuesday. Mid-70s on Wednesday with partly cloudy skies. Have a good one!
