Police have arrested two suspects after a shooting in Gastonia left two hospitalized.
GASTONIA, N.C. — Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting that injured two people in Gastonia on Saturday, police said.
Around 8 p.m., officers from the Gastonia Police Department responded to reports of gunshots on Spencer Avenue. When officers arrived, they found two people who had been shot. Both victims were taken to the hospital with injuries that aren’t considered life-threatening.
Gastonia Police announced that two suspects are charged in connection with the incident.
Christian Michelle Cash, 32, faces multiple charges, including two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, shooting into an occupied dwelling and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Ricky Lamar Judge, 36, has been charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
The Gastonia Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate. Officials are urging anyone with information to contact the Gastonia Police Department.
