Kim Kardashian knows how to make a mark at fashion’s biggest night — no iffs, ands or butts about it.
The reality star selected another laced-up look for the Met Gala 2025 red carpet on Monday, posing on the museum steps in a corseted Chrome Hearts set that practically bared her full behind.
The Skims founder, 43, topped off her daring derrière-hugging look with a matching leather hat and styled her long dark locks in sleek waves.
Her tailored look seemingly nodded to this year’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme, which celebrates the styles of black dandy men and “the importance of clothing in style to the formation of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora.”
She completed the eye-catching ensemble with a stack of three diamond necklaces, matching earrings and two strands of pearls draped around her right hip.
It’s the second year in a row she’s opted for an extra-cinched style, as last year she whittled her waist in a silver brocade corset created by John Galliano for Maison Margiela.
She paired the much-discussed design with a gray cardigan and a skirt crafted from tooled silver metal in a pattern featuring flowers, leaves, pearls, mirror fragments and crystals.
But while corsets have become somewhat of a Kim staple at the Met Gala since her infamous 2019 Thierry Mugler “dripping wet” look, that doesn’t mean they’re any easier for her to wear.

In a February episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” Kardashian admitted just how uncomfortable the extravagant outfit was to wear.
“I am claustrophobic,” she told the cameras in a confessional. “I’ve never felt this way before, where I feel like I can’t breathe.”
She continued, “It’s like I can handle it for so long, but I have to pee, I can’t breathe, I can’t get this off. I was like, I’m going to die if you don’t get this off of me right now.”
Despite the panic and pain, she told the cameras it was “Abso-f—king-lutely” worth it to wear the look to the Met.
“That’s just who I am,” Kardashian proudly added in her confessional. “If you look good, it’s all worth it.”
She’s certainly become the most talked-about person at the Met Gala since making her controversial debut in 2013 as a guest of then-boyfriend Kanye West while pregnant with their first child together. She has discussed at length the floral Givenchy gown she chose for the event — and the unflattering memes it sparked.
Other notable moments include her 2023 Marilyn Monroe moment that inspired her to lose nearly 20 pounds and her totally masked Balenciaga gown from 2021, which was inspired by West.
