A cafe chain based in New York City that serves meals from sunrise to sunset is making its Massachusetts debut very soon.
Daily Provisions will open a location in Cambridge at 1 Brattle Square this summer, a press release states.
The opening will mark the first time that Union Square Hospitality Group expands Daily Provisions outside of the New York City area. The brand has locations at Brookfield Place, the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, West Village, Rockefeller Center, Manhattan West, Union Square and Cobble Hill in Brooklyn as well as Jersey City, New Jersey.
Daily Provisions offers an all-day menu from breakfast pastries to dinner entrees. The cafe is best known for its signature breakfast sandwiches with thick slabs of bacon, juicy roast chicken and the widely sought-after crullers that rotate based on the season.
Daily Provisions is also known for having “The Absolute Best Egg Sandwich in New York,” “The Absolute Best Doughnuts in New York” and was mentioned on Grub Street’s “Guide to New York’s Flourishing Breakfast Scene.”
The Cambridge location will feature some Boston-specific menu items that will be revealed closer to opening.
A second Daily Provisions is expected to opened alongside Ci Siamo — USHG’s Italian concept — in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood later this year, according to the press release.
