While we await Dallas Fort Worth International Airport’s new Terminal F in 2027, we’ll stop by Terminal E and check out the latest location for Fort Worth’s Brewed.
The boutique coffee shop is expected to open next year at the terminal, following the restaurant that opened in 2019 in Terminal D.
Unlike the first airport location that offers a full-service restaurant and specializes in all-day brunch, the Terminal E version of Brewed will offer a curated coffee experience. In other words, a good ol’ cup o’ joe, Fort Worth style.
“We are so excited to be representing Fort Worth in Terminal E,” said Joey Turner, co-owner of Brewed. “Coffee is one of the most important beverages at the airport, and we look forward to providing warm welcomes and meaningful connections while serving each cup to our guests.”
Brewed is partnering with OdehMickens, a franchisee and licensee group that operates several brands within the airport, to bring the new location to life.

New event space in Grapevine
The Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau has opened the Grapevine Fairway Events Center. This new indoor and outdoor meeting venue is at 3800 Fairway Drive next to the 27-hole Grapevine Golf Course. The venue can host weddings, receptions, tournaments, meetings and more.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the Grapevine Fairway Events Center – featuring two elegant, reimagined venues where guests can create lasting memories,” said Paul W. McCallum, executive director of the convention and visitors bureau. “This hilltop location has breathtaking views that overlook the Grapevine Golf Course, Cowboys Golf Club and Denton Creek. It’s truly an oasis in the metroplex.”
A bit of Fort Worth in Barstow
Fort Worth-born Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, the fast-casual restaurant taco brand that began near TCU, has made its California debut with a location in Barstow.
“Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has built a passionate following across the country, and we’re confident that Californians will embrace our bold flavors and great vibes,” said Patrick Kirk, president of Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. “As a key stop along Route 66, Barstow offers the perfect place to take a break on a road trip. It’s a great first step to introduce our brand to the West Coast and marks a big milestone for Fuzzy’s.”
