Battle performed Mariah Carey’s “Without You” on Monday’s episode of “The Voice.”

HARRISBURG, N.C. — Bryson Battle, a 21-year-old from Harrisburg, once again impressed judges on NBC’s “The Voice.”

On Monday, Battle sang “Without You” by Mariah Carey in the semifinals round of the competition.

Battle has been competing on Team Legend this season. Legend called Bryson’s performance “amazing,” saying he sounded powerful and compelling.

“You are everything,” Legend said.

Legend chose Battle as one of his contestants advancing to the Live Rounds on Team Legend.

He’s wowed the judges at every turn throughout the season, from his rendition of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song For You” in the blind auditions to his most recent performance of “Ain’t No Way” by Aretha Franklin in the Knockout Rounds.

During the Playoff Rounds, superstar advisors help coach the remaining artists ahead of their performances. Each coach can only take two artists with them to the live shows.

Viewers will learn if Battle advances to the finals on Tuesday, May 13, at 8 p.m. on WCNC Charlotte.
