This is Charlotte’s second deadly shooting on Saturday morning.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was found dead in a car with gunshot wounds early Saturday morning in north Charlotte.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. at the intersection of North Graham Street and Craighead Road in the North Tryon Division.
Officers found a victim inside a vehicle who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of family members. No arrests have been announced at this time.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
This is the second deadly shooting in Charlotte on Saturday morning.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
