CHARLOTTE, N.C. — “The Voice” on NBC kicked off the Playoff Rounds last week, and Charlotte 21-year-old Bryson Battle made a big splash on Monday’s episode.

Coach Michael Bublé joked he wished he could steal Battle, saying nobody else could’ve performed that song quite like Battle had.

“That song was designed to be difficult,” Coach Adam Levine said. “There’s like 40,000 changes, 700,000 notes and like you invented more notes. I don’t even know — are you an alien? It’s so technically crazy, I don’t even know.”
The praise didn’t stop there.
“I think that you could truly win this whole competition,” coach Kelsea Ballerini said.
Battle, originally from Harrisburg, has been competing on Team Legend this season. Legend called Bryson’s performance “amazing,” saying he sounded powerful and compelling.
“You are everything,” Legend said.
Legend chose Battle as one of his contestants advancing to the Live Rounds on Team Legend.
