The East Longmeadow boys lacrosse team is on its way to the playoffs, and there’s no team that wants to face them right now.

The Spartans ended the regular season with their fifth straight win on Monday night, defeating South Hadley 13-2 to put a stamp on their 12-3 campaign.

Jake Robidoux, Zachary Sares, and Will Fox each had a pair of goals in the win, but it was once again Brayden McCarthy who led East Longmeadow on offense. With four goals on Monday, the sophomore increased his season total to a team-leading 33 goals.

Offense has been the strength of East Longmeadow all season long, but defense has been the main reason behind their strong finish to the year. Over the course of their winning streak, opponents scored a combined 12 goals against the Spartans.

Whoever they face in the playoffs can only hope that changes by then.
