Eastbound Interstate 70 has reopened between east Vail and Vail Pass after the highway was closed for a crash on Friday afternoon, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The crash was reported just after 4 p.m. and closed the roadway between exit 180 and exit 190, state officials said. Officials announced the roadway had reopened as of 5:06 p.m. in a social media post.
