On Wednesday, NFL teams released their 2025 schedules. Fans can finally start making their travel plans, picking out which games they want to go see, and planning those tailgate parties accordingly.
In recent years, the schedule release itself is accompanied by some of the weirdest, most unique videos that the NFL puts out, and for some of the social media teams, they’ve been cooking (literally, for the Las Vegas Raiders).
Some videos are simple, like a drone flying through a city, showing two helmets on stands facing each other to signify each week’s match-up. Others (looking at you, Green Bay) are just flat out weird.
You can see all of the teams’ release videos below.
AFC North:
Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens went full “Severance” mode and parodied the popular Apple TV show (Andrew Buck Michael, who loves the show but hates the Ravens, was torn). There are a lot of Easter Eggs in this video, just like the show, so pay attention.
Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals created a “short film” starring QB Joe Burrow.
Cleveland Browns: I don’t know what this is, and judging by the comments, I’m not alone.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Nick Herbig and Keeanu Benton go on a quest to capture Sasquatch?
AFC East
Buffalo Bills: The Bills had a little help from “A.I.” in their video.
Miami Dolphins: Inspirational. Edgy. Not far from a car commercial.
New England Patriots: Patriots players Christian Gonzalez, Joshua Dobbs, Robert Spillane, DeMario Douglas & Marcus Jones participate in an egg drop challenge, mimicking other popular YouTube videos.
New York Jets: In one of the most unique videos of the year, the Jets enlisted popular YouTuber Jesse Martin to create an “Infinity Drawing” of their schedule, and it’s pretty sweet.
AFC South
Houston Texans: WAZZUPPPPPPPPPPPP is back (Millennials and Gen X rejoice)
Indianapolis Colts: Blue gets into the marble racing trend.
Jacksonville Jaguars: A day in the life of Ashton Hall.
Tennessee Titans: The kings of the schedule release video are at it again with this “pharmaceutical ad” (pay attention to the side effects). Also, if you missed their 2024 video, you should watch it now.
AFC West
Denver Broncos: Kids riding sheep. That’s it.
Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs parody “Cash Cab” with their own “Chiefs Cab” with appearances from Trent Green and Andy Reid.
Las Vegas Raiders: The Raiders troll every team on their schedule. They even refer to the Bears as “Bear s*it”, and the Browns as just s*it. This is now two teams in this list that have made references to the Browns being s*it. Three if you count the Bengals making fun of the QB room.
Los Angeles Chargers: Another one of the teams to look forward to on this day of social media battles, the Chargers took advantage of the popularity of the Minecraft movie and did their entire release in the style of the popular video game. So. Many. Easter Eggs.
NFC North
Chicago Bears: The Bears bring in Emmy-winning actor Lamorne Morris (New Girl, Fargo) who “leaks” the schedule to everyone named Ben Johnson, so members of the Bears team naturally hunt down everyone with that name.
Detroit Lions: Take a flight through the city of Detroit, where the Lions reveal each match-up at iconic locations throughout the city.
Green Bay Packers: I think Aaron Rodgers may have cooked this up during his last Ayahuasca trip. Josh Jacobs has a fever dream, and the social media team in Wisconsin was possibly high during the creation of this video.
Minnesota Vikings: A creative video that shows fans receiving tattoos based on each week’s match-up, and wall art trolling each team they play.
NFC East
Dallas Cowboys: CeeDee Lamb, Osa Odighizuwa, Tyler Smith and friends host a “stream” where they golf, play cornhole and release the schedule. The shots correlate with the teams as they announce them. 0 stars.
New York Giants: Do…do the Giants want to date all of their opponents?
Philadelphia Eagles: Set to the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey, Philly is still celebrating their Super Bowl championship. Featuring The Philadelphia Orchestra, the Eagles are just like…Look at our pretty trophy, NERDS!!! Respect.
Washington Commanders: A parody of Roller Coaster Tycoon, the Commanders set up rides based on their opponents with so much shade thrown in (check out the Bears game in week 6).
NFC South
Atlanta Falcons: “ATL Kart” races through the schedule with a parody of Mario Kart
Carolina Panthers: The players host a “secret reveal meeting” which features seatbelt violations, British accents, and confessions.
New Orleans Saints: The Saints take a page out of President Obama’s playbook and hire comedian Rob Kazi to act as an “anger translator” for new head coach Kellen Moore.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jon Gruden stars in an “unboxing” of the schedule.
NFC West
Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals dropped a new single and music video. Linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. drops a banger that stands up taller than Kyler Murray.
Los Angeles Rams: The Los Angeles Rams get some help from aspiring defensive coordinator Brenda Song to announce their 2025 season schedule. Daily Show vibes.
San Francisco 49ers: A parody of Tron and Oregon Trail, this one hits all the nostalgia
Seattle Seahawks: a 4×3 90s-inspired toy commercial with an epic voiceover. The YouTube Disclaimer is perfect: Powdered soap not meant for human consumption. Please consult local fire department before playtime. No protein was harmed in the making of this video. Noise cannon may cause hearing loss. Use proper ear protection for extended exposure. Not responsible for nightmares caused by Kingdome bathroom. May not be suitable for fans of the 49ers. Fines and batteries not included. Some assembly required. Only available for 12s Everywhere. The social media teams cooked this year (with a few duds). May the trolling and shade for the schedule release continue as a yearly tradition.
