The identities of those arrested on Tuesday have not been released by law enforcement.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A man from High Point was one of three people arrested Tuesday after an investigation by the Myrtle Beach Police Department into the April shooting that left several people injured and the suspected shooter dead after being shot and killed by law enforcement.

The incident happened on April 26 on North Ocean Boulevard, a popular tourist spot in Myrtle Beach and left 11 people injured. Police shot and killed the suspect, 18-year-old Jerrius Davis of Bennettsville, S.C..

“These arrests are not directly tied to the shooting itself but are independent cases and part of the broader investigation into associated criminal activity,” the Myrtle Beach Police Department said in a social media post on Tuesday.

One man was arrested in High Point on Tuesday after a search warrant was conducted. The two others were picked up in Bennettsville, S.C., and Laurinburg, N.C., according to police.

The identities of the individuals arrested on Tuesday have not been released.
