WADESBORO, N.C. — The Wadesboro Police Department is looking for a man who has an active arrest warrant for murder.
Officers say 20-year-old Kea’yon Dorrell Richardson should be considered armed and dangerous, and urge anyone who knows where he is or sees him to call 9-1-1 immediately.
The department had earlier announced on Facebook that officers were investigating a homicide that unfolded Wednesday night at an apartment home. Police said they were called to the Oak Hill Apartments community along North Greene Street just before 8:40 p.m. after someone reported shots had been fired. Officers arrived and found a female victim dead of an apparent gunshot wound.


As of publication, the victim remains unidentified, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with more information about the case can call Wadesboro Police at (704) 694-2167.
