ACCORDING TO THE BOOK –
BIDEN’S PHYSICIAN “KEVIN O’CONNOR” ALSO ALLEGEDLY ARGUED WITH BIDEN’S TOP AIDES TO GET MORE “REST TIME” INTO THE PRESIDENT’S SCHEDULE – SUGGESTING THE PRESIDENCY WAS TAKING A TOLL ON HIS HEALTH.
THE BOOK ALSO ALLEGES SEVERAL INSTANCES OF BIDEN FORGETTING PEOPLE’S NAMES.
SUCH AS AN AIDE THAT WORKED FOR BIDEN SINCE THE 1980’S.
JAKE SULLIVAN – HIS NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER.
AND ACTOR GEORGE CLOONEY.
ACCORDING TO AN EXCERPT PUBLISHED IN THE NEW YORKER –
BIDEN DIDN’T RECOGNIZE CLOONEY UPON ARRIVAL AT A FUNDRAISER EVENT IN JUNE 2024.
“Clooney felt a knot form in his stomach as the President approached him.
“You know George,” the assisting aide told the President, gently reminding him who was in front of him. “Yeah, yeah,” the President said.”
“It seemed clear that the President had not recognized Clooney.”
“George Clooney,” the aide clarified for the President.

Clooney was shaken to his core. The President hadn’t recognized him, a man he had known for years.”

THE TIMES WROTE “the book is so reliant on anonymous sourcing — very few aides or elected officials are quoted by name — that it reveals the enduring chill that Mr. Biden’s loyalists have cast over a Democratic Party still afraid to grapple publicly with what many say privately was his waning ability to campaign and serve in office.”
BIDEN ALONG WITH HIS WIFE WERE ASKED ABOUT THE ALLEGATIONS OF A COGNITIVE DECLINE IN AN INTERVIEW WITH THE VIEW LAST WEEK –

“They are wrong, there’s nothing to sustain that number one. Number two, think about what we left with. Where we had an insurrection when i started, not since the civil war.”
