Marian University will offer a new online bachelor’s degree in leadership, the university announced April 30.
The program is accelerated, with courses offered on a five-week or eight-week schedule, rather than on traditional semesters. Classes are also asynchronous, so students can complete their work on their own time while balancing work or other responsibilities.
Marian is also slightly lowering tuition rates for all its online degree programs starting this fall and eliminating application fees. Class costs will go to $399 per credit hour from $425, or about $1,200 for a standard 3-credit class. Associate degree classes are slightly less expensive, at $375 per credit hour.
Students in the online leadership program will take classes on a variety of topics including conflict resolution, resilience and authority.
