The Dallas Stars were staring down the barrel of elimination, down 2-0 with their season on the line in the third period of Game 7.
Then everyone — Mikko Rantanen, the Stars and a sold-out American Airlines Center alike — woke up.
The Stars are moving on after a wild third-period comeback eliminated the Avalanche and saved the Stars season.
A whiplashed Stars fanbase went from morose to euphoric in a span of about 10 minutes.
