One Massachusetts butterfly garden is in the running to be voted the best in the country.

Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory in South Deerfield is in the top running for USA Today’s 10Best butterfly gardens. It is the only one in the running from New England.

The website teams with an expert panel to identify the most exceptional butterfly gardens throughout the country. Then, 10Best readers have the opportunity to vote for their favorite.

You can cast your vote for the top pick once per day until voting ends on Monday, May 12 at 12 p.m. EST. The winning butterfly gardens will be announced on Wednesday, May 21 and will be awarded “a badge of recognition as the 10BEST Readers’ Choice,” according to USA Today.

“In this 8,000-square-foot New England butterfly conservatory, over 4,000 butterflies from as far away as Southeast Asia and South America fly throughout exotic blooms,” 10Best said about Magic Wings.

The conservatory also hosts a small waterfall and colorful Japanese koi fish, it added. Additionally, Magic Wing’s exhibits explain the evolution of butterflies and fun facts. It hosts several Voodoo Lilies, a pungent plant, one of which bloomed early last year.

Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory is located at 281 Greenfield Road, South Deerfield.
