Monroe Police seek public help finding missing 15-year-old girl.
MONROE, N.C. — The Monroe Police Department has issued an urgent appeal for public assistance in locating 15-year-old Halle Iwuji, who was reported missing from her home on Vanderlyn Street.
Iwuji was last seen Wednesday evening, April 30, at her home in the 1900 block of Vanderlyn Street in Monroe. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.
Iwuji is described as a Black female standing 5’5″ tall and weighing approximately 112 pounds. She has brown eyes and long braided black hair.
The Monroe Police Department is actively seeking information about Iwuji’s whereabouts. The missing person notice indicates her last known address is 1945 Vanderlyn Street in Monroe, NC 28110.
Police have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of her disappearance at this time.
