A pedestrian was struck by two vehicles while trying to cross a busy road in Rock Hill on Tuesday night, investigators said.
ROCK HILL, S.C. — A pedestrian was hit and killed in Rock Hill on Tuesday night, police said.
The crash happened around 10 p.m. on Celanese Road near Riverchase Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found a 54-year-old person lying in the road. The victim, who hasn’t been identified, died from their injuries.
Investigators said the pedestrian attempted to cross the road illegally in front of oncoming traffic and was struck by a Ram pickup and a Toyota RAV4. It’s unclear if any charges will be filed.
The crash remains under investigation. No further details were released by detectives.
