Charlotte police are investigating a deadly shooting on Broken Pine Lane, Saturday morning.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting on Saturday morning in north Charlotte.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officers responded to a call about an assault with a deadly weapon just after midnight on Saturday in the 9300 block of Broken Pine Lane.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a person who had been shot.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Public Affairs Office said it will release additional information as the investigation moves forward.
