COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — On the evening of March 2, 2025, a collision occurred involving a 2012 Nissan Quest minivan and a minibike at the intersection of Graham Street and Hildreth Avenue.
The incident took place around 7:40 p.m. when the minivan, traveling west on Mt. Vernon Avenue, turned north onto Graham Street. As the minivan approached the intersection with Hildreth Avenue, a minibike operated by a juvenile with an adult passenger failed to yield and collided with the minivan.
The impact of the crash ejected both riders from the minibike, resulting in serious injuries to the adult passenger. The driver of the minivan stopped briefly, walked around the scene, and then left, abandoning the vehicle. The minivan has since been reported stolen.
