Clear, calm and mild tonight. Patchy fog will develop tonight through early Thursday morning. Thursday will be the first of our near-record high days.

The next few days will be sweltering as a ridge of high-pressure parks across the Peninsula. Seasonal temperatures average around 86 degrees this time of year. Afternoon highs are forecast to reach the mid to upper 90s across our inland counties through the weekend.

Tonight: Mostly clear and mild with patchy fog.

Thursday: Mostly sunny skies with well above average temperatures. Patchy fog early with lows in the 60s inland, upper 60s to low 70s along our beaches. Afternoon highs in the 90s inland with some areas reaching the mid to upper 90s, upper 80s along the beaches. Wind: SW 5-15 mph.

More of the same Friday through the weekend. A weak front will move into southeast Georgia late Monday bringing a very slight chance of showers.
