Houston, Texas – The Dana Cortez Show didn’t just return to Houston — they came back with energy, purpose, and a mission to uplift the city. The trio made up of Dana Cortez, DJ Automatic, and Anthony Alamanzar will host a Comedy Night Out fundraiser, benefitting the DePelchin Children’s Center, supporting local foster youth.
“It takes a village,” Dana said. “And if there’s one thing I know about H-Town — we come together to help. So let’s party for a cause!”
The trio’s chemistry is more than radio magic — it’s real-life friendship, partnership, and history. Dana and DJ Automatic are married, and Anthony, has been with them for over a decade.
Anthony A., who’s been doing stand-up comedy for over a decade, is excited to bring his passion to the stage: “It’s a great way to get out there, meet the community, connect with them on a face-to-face level, and provide a great night of entertainment.”
Every dollar from the night goes directly to helping foster kids. “We’re not keeping any of it,” Dana emphasized. “This really is about charity — and bringing the community together.”
You can catch the Dana Cortez Show every weekday morning from 5–10 a.m. on Mix 96.5. and if you’re in Houston, grab your $15 ticket to the show — laugh hard, give back, and party with purpose.
