Throwing a no-hitter in baseball is one of the toughest accomplishments in the sport.
However, throwing a combined no-hitter is rarer than one person throwing one.
That is exactly what happened, as two pitchers from South Hadley threw five innings of hitless ball on Friday night to win 11-0 over Commerce.
The win improved South Hadley to 9-8, while Commerce fell to 0-15.
For the Tigers, the two pitchers were Matthew Butler and Josh Willette.
Butler (seven strikeouts) pitched the opening three innings, while Willette (five strikeouts) finished the final two.
On top of the superb pitching from the Tigers, the Red Raiders also committed eight errors and gave up nine stolen bases to the Tigers, as the 10 runs in the first three innings helped propel them to the convincing victory.
Noah Carillon finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored, while Logan Carpenter recorded an RBI double and scored twice.
South Hadley will host No. 17 Hampshire on Monday at 4 p.m. in its last game of the regular season, while Commerce will also host Sci-Tech on the same scheduled date and time to complete its season.
