Belchertown softball beat SICS on Tuesday by a final score of 21-19 in an offense-filled game that featured 37 total hits.

The Orioles fell behind early, as the team trailed 14-5 entering their half of the fourth inning. The tides turned for Belchertown in that frame, however – the Orioles tallied 11 runs in the inning, and never trailed the rest of the way.

Emily Waller, Sophia Mitus and Vivian Ross all played key roles in Belchertown’s victory, each recording four hits. Mitus added a team-high four RBIs, as well.

For SICS, Seraiahh Morgan had a big day at the plate, going 5-for-6 with four RBIs. No other player on either team reached the five-hit mark on Tuesday.

Belchertown moves to 13-3 on the season, while SICS falls to 8-10 this year with the loss.
